The positives are, great sound and versatility with Bluetooth, great design looking like a rock. I have them on my new back patio, outside. I have used them several times since purchase about 5 months ago. They have not failed to produce nice sound. The only drawback I’ve found is, if you want to move them farther apart, coming up with a suitable extension cable has proven to be very difficult. Ensure your cord is long enough for all your applications prior to purchase.

First order I received and found that there are many cracks in the passive speaker, several crack at the bottom and also one on the side. Amazon said it was shipped from the manufacture, so I have to refund it and place a new order. The second shipment comes it, it was even worse. one crack at the bottom, many side cracks. See the pictures I attached, they all are cracked at the same spots for the 2 different shipment and they are all the passive speaker that upside down inside the box. It was very disappointed as these are very good speakers, I don't want to return them, but I don't want to keep the cracked speakers either.Update: I decided to contact Herdio Customer Support by email. Lisa promptly replied my email next day and assure me that I will get a proper replacement in "Perfect" condition. It shows up 2 days later and yes it is in brand now condition with no damage. Very happy now that I have these good sound quality speakers at a good deal. I also bought 4 more non-bluetooth speakers so I can wire them up for my entire backyard. Too bad that Herdio designs these non-bluetooth speakers come with bare wire connection, while the BT speakers come with a waterproof adapter. In order for me to connect them all together, I have to cut the waterproof adapter to manually connect all the wires together and waterproof seal them. Overall, I give 5 stars for the good sound quality and excellent Customer Service.

I purchased these to replace a set that had lasted 4 years outdoors. Upon receipt, one of the male pin connectors had a metal burr on it that prevented it from connecting to the supplies female plug. I sent the vender a note about the problem, as I did not want to return them, but I heard nothing back from them. I was able to use a micro pair of needle nose plyers and sandpaper to remove enough of the burr to get the female plug to connect. Therefore, I give these a three, not because of the actual item but because the vender didn't respond. By fixing the item myself, I saved them money, time and effort to just replace the defective item. The fix may have been simply sending me a new connector but they chose not to respond at all.UPDATE: The vender did respond and the problem was taken care of. This is my third set of these speakers, or a version of the same. Each set has lasted me 4 seasons around my pool in Georgia. They would probably last a few more if I took them in during the winter. Regardless, they have good sound and are so convenient to use. When this pair dies, I will probably buy another unless they are surpassed by technology.

The speakers are well made. They could be a bit louder but the performance is alright. I use them with my projector and they work just fine. They project the sound really well in the direction the speakers are facing. I wished the cable connecting the two speakers were longer.

I liked the Bluetooth capability. Could not find a way to EQ the sound quality. Plenty of Bass. They advertise as 600w - but I find that highly unlikely. I have a 40w Bluetooth PA speaker that is WAY louder and sounded just as good. The cable connecting the 2 speakers could be a little longer ideally another 5 or 10 feet (same with the power cord).It was easy to set up, not sure on the waterproofing, the color is more black than grey.I really wanted to like these, but for the money I expected more volume.

I love these speakers. I hid these in a flower bed near my pool and everyone was impressed with the sound and couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. Very simple to set up and no problems with Bluetooth connectivity
