I first discovered these dumbells in the exercise room at a hotel where I was staying. That made me want to get them for use at home. If you handle them enough, and you will figure out how to use them. I carry them on long weekend walks.For those who mentioned the grease: just wipe it off. The stainless steel bar in the center has a factory knurled surface. They have to use lubricating oil to knurl the surface in the factory. That is high quality manufacturing.
