This is for VERY SMALL cats or kittens.* And guess what? Kittens grow fast so I’m not sure why you’d buy this for a kitten. But hey, maybe that’s just me. If your cat is 5-7 lbs, this might work. Imagine my disappointment when I looked at this and then my 15lb boys. The one could only get his head in the enclosed space. No way would they fit in the basket and they could just barely fit on the bed. But even then they were kind of hanging off.Besides the size, I will say this is a pretty decent looking cat tree. Fairly good quality materials too. It’s also really sturdy. Like one of the best I’ve seen when it comes to how well the posts stay in place. It was fairly easy to put together but there was one spot when the two pieces didn’t line up as the were supposed to, but it ended up being ok.*Seems like a good size for a ferret?

Cat tested, cat approved. They love it! Beautiful and decorative plus fun for multi cat households. It's not overly large so it doesn't take up a lot of room. Stable, good choice for large cats. Well made and easy to put together.

I purchased this as a replacement for my big boys other small tree. I love this one. It is stylish & modern looking and not tacky looking. All of my cats are big (15lbs & up), so I am always worried they won't fit. He should not fit in the small cubby, but like every cat....he crams himself in there. What I REALLY like about this tree is the beds are removable and washable. The only thing I do not like is that the long siderail is 2 pieces. It has rubber stickers for the bottom to prevent scratching your floors or sliding around. It was very easy to assemble and took me about 20 minutes. It also comes with all of the tools you need to assemble it.

This is a super cute, easy to assemble cat tree that goes perfect with my modern decor… not to mention it’s a hit with my fur baby.

I assembled only the little square cat house and a separate scratching post so far.I didn't build the entire thing yet because I would need to make holes for sixteen screws, and I don't have a drill.I have a hammer, but no nails, and the screws won't screw into the boards without a starter hole.I can see marks where the holes are supposed to be, but no one actually bothered to make them.The two openings to the little cat house are just too small for an adult cat.There's almost no chance my cat will try.I sort of expected that. I ordered this thing mostly for the big shelf at the top — a shelf I can't actually use yet because it came in six pieces.If it came in four pieces, I could have used it.Also, the screws are black instead of silver, which makes them twice as hard to find if you drop one on a dark-colored rug.Set them out on the white cushion so you can see them.(Maybe the screws were painted black to prevent them from rusting if they get wet.)This company should forget about the little house, the basket, and the scratching posts and just make a set of two cat shelves, placed one above the other like bunk beds.That would be only five boards, twelve screws, and two cushions, and it's done.

I had to have the helpful neighbor put this together - it is so poorly engineered. The instructions are inadequate - however, it looks nice on my landing for my stairs into the living room. It is cleverly engineered so no x-ray eyes are necessary. Not for the weak to assemble-
