My son bought one of these for his lathe, and I was following his lead. It is the standard, turn-to-the-chuck configuration.If there were also a right-hand holder, I would have gotten it, too.The 1/2" shank may be too big for small lathes, so check your lathe's tool capacity.

Perfect for my Logan 10" 200. AXA QCTP with AXA #1 XL (5/8") Tool Post Holder. The XL allows the 1/2" shank to be low enough for the cutter to be adjusted to the center of the spindle. Uses size 3 (3/8") inserts.

When turning stainless steel shapes on a lathe, cheap tooling isn't good enough. Accusize tooling gets the job done!
