I got this stand to use with my first drum kit. I'm no expert, but it holds my high hat, the pedal does what I want it to, and it doesn't wobble or fall over. Seems like a pretty good stand to me.

This Hi Hat cymbal is very nice. It works as it should. The pedal has nice tension and release, so it sounds nice and moves freely. The chrome finish looks excellent. Nice hardware for attaching the cymbals.

At ~$40, this hi-hat stand is in a league of its own regarding quality for value. It features double braced legs, which have fantastic stability and leg spread. The pedal attachment is pretty standard, using a squeeze pin style to hold the pedal in place. Action is smooth and it offers a double chain for strength and performance. It is reasonably lightweight, but holds up well under harder play, retaining good pedal recoil. I do wish it had a quick release for the upper hat, but that is an upgrade for later, but pleased to see it has a angle tension screw for the lower hat, in case you want to get a little jazzy. Regardless your play style, this stand will get you off and jamming in minutes.

It is a nice high hat stand. It seems like it will hold up to my heavy foot. It is chain driven. It folds up nicely. It is heavier than I thought but I think that is a good thing. I couldn't get a good angle for the picture but at least you can see it in relation to my foot. I must admit that I wear a size 14, so it might make it look small.

This is a bit of a get what you pay for situation. There are better options for just around ten dollars more, and much better options at around 40-50 dollars more. But at $40-45, this is about what you might expect, and does the job. While the stand is adjustable, it doesn't go as high as most. But it can reach a range of heights that should be suitable for almost all drummers. The felt at the base (where the lower cymbal rests) has no hard plastic disc under it. As a result, the angle adjustment will eventually have no effect, as the screw digs into the felt and wears it away. The clutch at the top cymbal only has one threaded stop, which will likely lead to the top cymbal loosening as the stand is used. The pedal feels pretty good, and the chain is good, but there is a good amount of wobble as it makes its way up to the lower cymbal base. One reason for my docking stars is that the first point in the "about this item" section is that it's a "heavy duty" stand. The last point is that it's "really good for a beginner or intermediate level on a budget". It can't be both, and the second point is closer to the truth.Mine did come with a pair of sticks, which was an unexpected bonus, and maybe a $5-7 value. But upon looking at other budget stands, I see that many of them come with a pair of sticks.

I recently ordered a Kindo Hi-Hat stand for my daughter, who's been drumming for a few years now, and she is very happy with it. The stand feels sturdy and well-made. The Hi-Hat stand should be able to handle the rigors of drumming, even as her skills progress. After lubricating the stand, it opens and closes smoothly with a good range of adjustability. The stand's user-friendly design makes it perfect for beginners. It's easy to set up and adjust, which is a big plus for young drummers who are just getting started. I currently set up my daughter's kit for her but she seems to be understanding how to set the kit up and did not find it hard to do with help.Even though the Hi-Hat stand is beginner-friendly, the stand has enough features and adjustability to accommodate an intermediate player as well. Overall, I'm very happy with the Kindo Hi-Hat stand. It's a great value for the price, and it provides a solid foundation for my daughter to grow with as she progresses.

This is a good beginner set. Stand is pretty well built. Pedal is machined aluminum with lip but hollow undeneath. Mine came with some scratches even though it was in plastic wrap. Doesn't impact it's use. Everything works and looks as described. Comes with bonus set of 5A sticks which is nice touch. Didn't see any instructions or manufacturer information but not needed. Simply open legs, unwrap pedal and insert into two holes. It has good tension and decent action. Fully adjustable.
