No matter what I tried, this diverter leaked water. Put on the plumbers tape several times in different thicknesses. Even bought the thicker red plumbers tape, hoping that would help. Had two different people try attaching it. Had to return the item, unfortunately. After that, I purchased a $16 diverter from a hardware store and it worked perfectly at first try.

Excellent valve. Replaced old leaking valve in shower. Well made, brass, comes with teflon tape as bonus. This valve once installed works great, easy switching and not leaking. Highly recommended.

Looks good, doesn’t leak, and works well. We often shower with both main head and wand going. Splits water flow evenly. Was a good purchase.

The valve could be perfect. It feels heavy, durable and the switch works very well.Honestly I really want to give it a 5 stars but for some reason when I make it run full flow on my main shower head it's so loud. If I turn just a little off the switch towards the dual flow the noise goes away. It happens with 2 shower heads which are fine without the valve so it has to be the cause.

I would buy this again. Good quality solid metal valve that increased the available pressure to my shower heads.I had purchased a plastic valve a few yrs ago and it fell apart on my wife.I wish I had found this first.

I don' t wax poetic or get passionate about plumbing, though I do appreciate it. This diverted is what it claims to be, works well, and seems solid enough to go the distance.
