Fits good, wings are a little thicker than he Trex hidden clips description says wings are 1.57” long but actually measures only 1.31” to bridge across a butt joint which is 3/16” (0.19”) wide. That leaves 1/2” of clip wing to keep end deck board secured.

The fasteners work great but a number of them don't fit every board properly. You have constantly switch them until you find ones that fit better

The part of the plastic fastener that fits in the groove does not fit in the Trex groove. It is too thick.

I used these for attaching the composite decking on the floating pier that I just built. I started drilling pilot holes for the first few deck boards. Then I thought I'd try it without drilling pilot holes. They screwed in nicely without requiring pilot holes, so it will save me lots of time.I also like the square hole in the screw head as opposed to Phillips-head screws (I heard some bad things about hidden connectors with Phillips-head screws). These come with a square bit as well. They are working great for my floating dock. No complaints.
