I love how this holder looks, and due to my lack of floor space really helps me get it away from being hit and still accessible. It does take more than one person to install, as it's not the easiest process. Will leave large holes in your wall so you have to be pretty precise on where you want to drill. I love the material, the grips on the rungs are nice, the cushion sticker for the wall fell off pretty quickly. But the grips and angle make sure it doesn't budge.

I was able to put my acoustic on the wall out of harms way. Installation was fairly simple, made easier with the positioning stickers. I prefer these over the neck holding hangers

dead simple to install, mounts the guitar perfectly. no wobbling or any other issues. it has a lip at the edge to prevent your guitar from slipping out, and also comes with rubber pads that you’ll put on the inside of the pegs to keep your guitar secured.i was surprised at how large the screws are, but i assume this is meant to house collector’s guitars, and thus would require the utmost guarantee of stability. just be wary if you’re renting!

Overall it's a good product, does what's intended but for best results do think through where exactly to put the pegs. I ended up putting the guitar against the wall and pencilijng the outline of the guitar then drilled the anchor holes outside the lines enough that the wood pegs would just touch the line. Also pay attention to put them where it makes sense to hold the body and then neck. Also, do NOT skip the rubber stick on appliques. The wood is actually a bit slippery without it and the 'lip' on the wood pegs is not very pronounced. It's a good hold but I would not put this in a house with say rambunctious children or pets bc it just rests on the pegs and is not "tied" down or otherwise securely gripped. For me it works great but it is something to consider.I actually managed to get a second (3/4 sized) guitar on as well till I get it's own hanger.Overall I like the kit, just make sure to think through the installation and if the prodcut fits your home/lifestyle.

The wood blocks are well-built and should work well but they seem like they may have been repurposed from some other use. Comes with plenty of mounting hardware so that's nice. The wood blocks are also potentially a bit "softer" than I'd like and may not last many years but we'll see.

Components all well made. Instructions fairly clear, but some judgment is needed to properly place pegs. I suggest installing bottom 2 pegs and then placing a guitar on them and allowing the natural leaning of the guitar to indicate where to locate the neck support peg. Installation time for me was about 20 minutes (being very slow and careful). A narrower guitar (3 3/4" deep at the bottom) felt a little wobbly when resting on the pegs, while a thicker guitar (4 15/16" deep at the bottom) felt more secure. Wouldn't recommend using a solid body guitar. I am not sure I would recommend this for someone in an area that expects earthquakes, and I wouldn't locate this in a high traffic area where errant elbows might accidently dislodge the guitar. Bottom line, I like this product and wouldn't hesitate to buy another, but I would be thoughtful about what instrument I was looking to use with it, and about the suitability of the installation location itself.

I have a music room with quite a few instruments. Among those is a special acoustic that I've had since I was young. I typically keep it in a case, but really wanted a nice safe way to display it and pick it up easily and play. This mounting hardware is great for just that! It has a nice warm wood look to them which compliments my guitar. It allows me to actually use my guitar too so it gives me a bit more functionality in my room. These mounts are built to a pretty high standard, solid wood, so it's not going to let anything all if you install it properly. Which leads me to my next insight. Installing is really just as easy as it could be. Everything is included for you to do the job. It even comes with rubber/soft pads for your guitar to rest against the wall and mounts as to not harm anything. Overall it's a great choice if you want quick access to your instrument while displaying it in a safe manner!

Super-Easy to install. The hardware is amazing and trustworthy. The wood is beautiful and strong. Quality!I figured out the location of my 1st hole to drill with a black marker in one hand and the guitar in the other, and mock placing for a mark zone. Then with the machine end of the screw threaded into the peg, I attached the plastic washer and then the drywall plug.I pushed the drywall plug into the wall hole using the peg as a handle....and when it seated, I rotated the peg until it sat snug on the wall. 2 of 3 went like this. One spot was on a stud, so I drilled a 1/2 size diameter hole to give a tighter fit for the threads.so now I have a spare drywall plug too.As for esthetics go:If it's just an acoustic that you don't plug in, you can sit your guitar any which way on the pegs that looks good to you. same stability. However:My acoustic-electric guitar sits reverse, not because it's lefthanded...but to prevent the sensitive electronics panel from being a dust trap topside.my Electronics protection wisdom...as those peizo modules are $100 and up.Really nice product...breezy installation.I'm in Cali too...so I'll get back to you after an earthquake too. 👍
