Less than a year after buying it has a leak and will not work anymore, While I really liked the disengagement feature to prevent air loss after pumping... But if it's not working, that feature doesn't matter.

I compared this to an existing shock pump gauge using 200psi in a fox rear shock and 75psi in a fox front fork. This pump gauge matched my existing one at the high and medium pressures. The "no loss valve" is a little quirky until you get used to how it works. Essentially the part that screws on to the schrader valve and the pin that pushes in the valve are on two separate barrels. You should screw them together before you attach to your shock and then when you have the correct pressure, you should hold the connection on the valve and unscrew the second barrel which will let the shock valve seal before you remove the pump (first barrel). This may sound confusing but honestly just play with it for a couple minutes and it will make sense. This will be my go to pump for now because I hate guessing how much pressure I lose when unscrewing my old shock pump.

Tried it on my bike. Works well and is conveniently small enough to fit in the saddlebags

Quality on this shock pump is very good, and it appears to be quite accurate. I had no issues attaching or using it on two front air suspension forks. But I had difficult with reading the indicated pressure. I only need a pump that goes to 250psi, about what the max for a front air damper. However, the gauge on this pump goes to 400psi. To fit everything in, the dial uses smaller hard-to-read numerals. I actually needed a headlamp to see the pressure reading, even in a brightly lit room.

Ordered for my daughter's 20" bike but it didn't work. Yes the part that attaches to the tube was designed for a larger tire but I have add on pieces to compensate for such and it still didn't work. Gauge never moved.

This is a must have tool for air shocks. The no loss double locking Schrader valve fitting is crucial to get high pressure into your air shocks. The only way this would be better is it was electric and inflated for you, but that's a tall task for 250psi and up for a small unit.

I do not recall, myself, ever having adjusted the rear Fox Alps 5R Shock on my vintage Cannondale. It is possible that I had it done at a bike shop but I, myself, have no experience pumping that shock. I used to use a “needle pump” to adjust the pressure in the headshock on an old Cannondale Delta V 900 but I have not done so with the Fox. So, I consider myself to be relatively inexperienced when it comes to shock pumps. When I saw the Kong Ming Car High Pressure Shock Pump listed on Amazon, I decided to try my hand at it. The Kong Ming Car High Pressure Shock Pump arrived with minimal packaging and instructions. Fortunately, the instructions that I needed were available on the Amazon listing page. I printed the section with instructions to keep with the pump. Other reviewers complained about the gauge. I agree, it is hard to read under normal light, but I was able to read it just fine with a headlamp. Following the instructions listed on the Amazon page, I found connecting the Kong Ming Car High Pressure Shock Pump to the shock and pumping to be quite straight forward. I purposely pumped the shock higher than I wanted so that I could test the bleed valve. I found, like other reviewers, that I bled off all of the air with just a slight push. I was, however, able to slowly pump up from below to stop just at the desired pressure. I tested the Kong Ming Car High Pressure Shock Pump on a second bike that also has a Fox Alps rear shock. This shock started off with too much pressure. I concentrated on pushing the bleed valve button very slowly. I actually braced my right hand with my left to allow a very slow gradual push. By golly, I was able to let off just a little pressure. I let some more out, pumped it up again and low and behold, I was able to slowly bleed off just the right amount. I am not, by any stretch of the imagination, a very coordinated person and as I mentioned above, I am not very experienced with the use of shock pumps. I feel that if a person like me can get the hang of the bleed valve on the second try, it must not be unreasonable for others to accomplish.I tested both bikes by pushing down to flex the rear shock. Both bikes seemed just right. I realize that this is a course way to verify the accuracy of the gauge but as far as I can tell the pressure readings of the Kong Ming Car High Pressure Shock Pump are accurate.I particularly like the 2 stage Schrader connection on the Kong Ming Car High Pressure Shock Pump. There are 2 connection rings for the valve. This allows the pump to be disengaged from the shock with no loss of air. This was always a problem with my old needle pump. There was no way to remove the pump from the valve without some loss of pressure. The Kong Ming Car people have solved that problem.Summary: The Kong Ming Car High Pressure Shock Pump enables precise pressure adjustments on front and rear air and air/oil bicycle shock absorbers. The gauge is a bit difficult to read without good light. The pump has a bleed valve that requires some practice. The valve attachment features an innovative 2 stage connection that prevents air loss when disconnecting the pump from the shock.
