A little tricky to keep on as it just stretches over your head. Your head pushes up the middle part to stick out like in the photo. I wouldn't call it "High end" like the description states, but it is Halloween costume level quality, and I could see it being really fun to plan an outfit around it.

I got this hat to wear for Halloween. I opened it on Halloween on my lunch break(day of Halloween) and LOVED it! It was so cute and soft and great quality and I couldn’t wait to wear it trick or treating with my kiddos! We were getting ready to head out the door and I went to put it on and the elastic snapped and it completely lost its shape! I was able to quickly improvise by wearing a beach hat and tucking the edges all in. I am fluent in sewing and crafting, so I am able to actually fix it and know the problem was that the ends of the elastic were not secured together too well. It was just frustrating because it happened right when I needed it. I would also like to add that I did not overly stretch it or mess with it in that manor. I just handled the product normally and it faulted! Overall, great product! Only suggesting that maybe the ends of the elastic could be made more secure in the future!

This hat definitely exceeded my expectations. It is at a slightly higher price point than other similar items, but worth it in terms of quality. The fabric is nice medium weight fleece that feels like it wouldn't easily blow away in the wind but also light enough to not cause neck discomfort. Stitching was good quality in areas prone to separation, such as around edge/lip of hat where changes from red to white fabric. White dots on top were adhered well/cleanly. There were a few red spots on a couple of the white dots that didn't seem intentional (more like fabric dye bleed) but it actually seemed to fit in.
