Came in quick, undamaged, and in very nice leather cover bags. I’ve been experimenting with this lens for a few weeks now and am very happy with it! I shoot mostly in Picture mode on my Canon EOS r100. This is the first “fancy” lens I’ve invested in and edit my photos on my iPhone so cannot comment on relative clarity/aperture/weight/ease of use etc., but have no complaints with my set up and the photos I’ve been able to produce. I find it functions very similar to a decent pair of binoculars. I have found that any issues with clarity or blur can be resolved by some sort of tripod or stand, practice with using manual focus, and some careful editing. The lens doesn’t work unless you mess with some settings; follow the instructions in the other reviews here to resolve.I needed an affordable lens that could capture detailed photos of wildlife from a distance (e.g., birding, hobby photography, etc) and that’s exactly what I got! The photos attached were all taken through my living room window at the lowest zoom - maybe I’m bias, but I think for a hundred bucks and some effort they’re pretty good! I’ve been having a ton of fun with this lens.10/10 definitely recommend! (Bonus pileated woodpecker and husky:))

Super Happy with lens. Great price. No response from BM Premium when I asked for the camera setting needed for the lens to work on my EOS RP mirror-less camera. This is what I finally did: Set dial on to top of camera to M, press MENUE button, press camera icon on screen that is third on the right, press C.FnIII, use arrows to go to page 7, then enable Release shutter w/o lens. You can then set shutter speed, ISO and focus manually. Their included T2-EOS R adapter worked correctly. Thought it should have come in a box with bubble wrap instead of a plastic bag, but everything was fine.

This product is perfect for moon shots as well as anything else from a distance. I bought this awhile ago and after taking many photos, it hasn't let me down. As for the cons, you do have to put all the pieces together. The biggest thing I've found is trying not to cross thread the pieces. I still give this a 5 star and worth the money if on a budget.

Licensed Canon lens have gold communication contacts on the bottom of the lens. That enables the camera shutter to activate sort of like a light switch. This telescope lens didn't have those activator gold contacts to tell the camera sensor to turn on. Solution to this, since I have a EOS R100 I had to go to the menu then cursor over to the wrench icon. On the 4th page in the wrench setting there is a custom functions button. Select the custom functions and cursor over to release shutter with out lens, enable that and the camera will work. I only give it 3 stars because the listing never mentions this and I had to call Canon to get guidance. Good lens overall but directions are not clear.

I was so excited when I got this in the mail to try it out. I had it the entire weekend trying to figure out why my camera wouldn't take photos etc. Pretty clear it's not compatible with the Canon EOS R10 as they claim....do not waste your money

The first order shipped without the adapters needed to make the product work as advertised. My return experience was super easy and the replacement shipped (and arrived) before I even took the first lens to the UPS dropoff location. I use a Canon EOS RP mirrorless camera, and with the included adapter and making one simple change to my camera settings, I was up and running in 5 minutes. Very satisfied with this lens -- a lot of bang for not much buck.
