This is impossible to just roll and zip, it's pretty much a mattress, and a thin one at that. I was unable to roll and zip it for storage, which is not good. I will either layer it with an air mattress or just return it. Disappointed.

I've been an avid camper all my life, but I'm also getting older and the hard ground has started to cause soreness when I sleep - when I CAN sleep.This mattress definitely helps with that because it's sturdy and comfortable. It's pricey compared to air mattresses and foam pads, but it's worth the extra money considering how quickly I go through air mattresses.

This pad is great to have that insulating layer before laying ont he ground to sleep. I like firmer sleeping surfaces and this will compliment the floor indoors especially. It has the japanese influence confirmed since sitting on the floor in general is part of the culture as well as sleeping. This rllout pad lays out easily and folds up well too. The color is a dark blue and the idea is to use this as a base to sleep on. Seems very sturdy and not cheap. Nice product overall and look forward to many occasions to lay on this for me and the family.

So I actually got this on the hopes that it could provide some extra cushion for a guest sleeping on my relatively hard couch and it was fantastic and perfectly fit my couch which was a nice surprise. The zipper holding it together for storage is also a really nice feature that keeps it nice and compact. When placed, I can say that while my hip still touches the ground, but it is much more comfortable and supportive than either of the other camping pads I have albeit significantly larger. Given it's size, it may not have much advantage over an air mattress for camping other than longevity and a smaller footprint. I would consider a (fully inflated) air mattress more comfortable so it depends on what you're looking for.
