I can only compare these to the nylon latigos that came on my Circle Y saddle. These are shorter and don't have as many holes so it is difficult to fit my horse. One loop and I go past all the holes, a second loop around and it won't reach the girth until after my horse has walked around some. The keeper leather is very, very thin and soft and feels as though it could easily break or wear through. I won't trust my life to it. You could easily get a better quality piece of leather to thread through but it should come with better leather. The holes are rough on the horse side and could possibly sore your horse. I will be ordering another set from Circle Y and tossing these.

The tie doesn't appear to be leather & looks like It could break very easily, not even sure what it is made of. The nylon strap is very nice. I would have thought they would have put a nice piece of leather on it

I need a matching off billet strap. This strap is great but a matching set would be better.
