I got these for a durability test at work. It was a fully automated compartment door slam test. The compartment was built with lap doors. I used a PLC and these limit switches to automate it. The switches were used to signal to the PLC whether the doors were open or closed and to move onto the next step in the program. This test was very harsh on both the doors and the switches. The doors were setup to slam shut at either 29 or 33 g's.The switches were mounted on the floor of the compartment, where vibration is high due to it being made out of sheetmetal. They went through about 135,000 cycles and still worked just fine in the end.I ended up using them in a second compartment door slam test where the door were setup to slam at either 85 or 55 g's! This test was even more harsh than the first. They lasted through another 135,000 cycles and are still working to this day.

Do the job for home but I would never use that in industries : easy to strip, break, loose screw. But do the job for low duty

These switches are a great deal. We are using them around the farm and they are working well. One is on our corn planter where is is being subject to dirty conditions, vibration and liquid fertilizer exposure. It is working well under demanding conditions. These switches can be used in normally open or normally closed circuits depending on which terminals you use inside the switch.

Work great, easy to adjust, have been reliable through thousands of cycles. I have used them in 24v and 120v applications with no issues. These have both normally open and normally closed terminals. Have bought 6 so far and will be buying more. I have used them as limit switches and triggers. These are not industrial quality switches, but they are reasonable quality AND they are not thirty bucks each! They are much better than tiny micro switches because they are dustproof and much more durable.

these limit switched worked exactly as I desired to turn on a "garage door is open" LED that I installed INSIDE my house (so wouldn't go to bed with garage door open). One MINOR issue is that the screws that hold the cover on don't have very good slots in them ... but they work. Switches are adjustable and seem to be working well for a couple of months now. (Picture shows a clamp holding wooden block to door track ... which was later removed when 2 screws were installed).

Not sure how these are so inexpensive, they're surprisingly good quality for the cost! I just bought these to build a simple (and ghetto) DIY laser engraver and I was blown away at the quality. The results have been repeatable with some initial testing, I think these are going to work out fine just fine! Will be used for end steps/homing on the laser engraver.

I'm not expecting to use these for anything critical, but they should be useful for such things as automated, Internet-connected cat doors. The action feels very positive and satisfying. Build quality is not superb, but the function is all I care about, and the very low cost must be taken into account in expectations.I'd like to do a proper resistance check, but that takes a bit of setup unless you have a true milliohm meter. I'll edit this review if and when I get around to it.Pay attention to the difference between AC and DC maximum current rating. As is almost always the case, the DC rating is FAR lower than AC. This is quite normal and to be expected.Don't wait for snail mail from Asia, get 'em from a US-based shipper like this one.

This is the kind of device you just can't go into a store and get one off the shelf. So, I really appreciate the availability of something like this. They arrived promptly, and were packaged well. They perform just as expected, and will serve my purpose well. Note that they are not industrial duty switches. The plastic is a bit soft, as are the metal parts. However, they work very well in a residential environment, and I expect them to have a good service life. That said, I highly recommend them.
