Step-1: Test the kill switch
Attach multimeter's one probe to kill switch wire, other to ground. Flip kill switch off; if resistance changes, switch is good.
Step-2. Remove old spark plug
Remove spark plug from cylinder. Then reattach it to spark plug boot.
Step-3. Check for Spark
Ground spark plug electrode on the engine block. Pull the recoil starter, check for spark.
Step-4. New Spark Plug Test
Install a new spark plug, repeat Step-3. No spark means the ignition coil is bad.

The ignition coil arrived on time and fit the motor perfect. But they forgot to send the spark plug and the zip tie. Glad I spent the extra money for the combo package. Disappointing experience from this seller.
