The carburetor kit worked as advertised. However, I had to use the old throttle cable from my original carburetor because this kit arrived without a throttle cable. Great item... Beware of what is included in the package. Quality control seems to be an issue.

I did not use all the parts. It turned out not to be the carburetor issue. I did use the fuel lines, spark plug. and filter. Very happy with the kit.

Company followed up and made it right. Would try again. Product did not perform as expected. Bought two thinking there might have been an issue with the first. Neither one worked.Cannot return the item as it has contained fuel, so normal return options are non existent.Disappointed with follow up from company as the ended communication without a resolution.

While there’s no doubt this is an inexpensive fix, you might have to do some extra work so it will properly function. I had to widen (dremel) a hole in order to feed the throttle cable through the linkage. However, I did manage to make it all work, and now the blower functions as it should - until it craps out again, which I am curious to learn about. If the the fuel lines and filter last don’t disintegrate right away, light the OEM parts, I guess I can be satisfied with the present end result. Overall, I wouldn’t wish for anyone to have to deal with fixing a new part. New parts should function perfectly - no exceptions!!!FYI: use the 50:1 premixed fuel - don’t use pump gas with an oil additive (You’ll be sorry).

I have an echo PB250LN blower that I've had for about 5 years. It started giving me some trouble a month beyond the ECHO 5 year warranty (go figure) and eventually wouldn't start at all (bad coil). Compression is still great, so replaced the coil, the fuel lines, air/gas filter, and plug. It cranked but still wouldn't idle or reach peak power. Took the Zama carb apart, cleaned, but still no dice.I was skeptical of the aftermarket carb of course, but for $15 - worth a shot. Side by side, the carbs appear identical....likely made with the same tooling as the Zama. Started first pull, Idles, and reaches peak. The high speed adjust screw is also not blocked with this one so you can adjust. And better still, it comes with an air filter, good quality fuel lines, a new tank plug, gas filter, spark plug, AND a carb for that price. If you are mechanically inclined, Installation should only take 5-10 mins. You will re-use your old throttle cable (the small sliver braided wire that goes from the trigger rod to the carb). Rotate the brass retaining screw and the stop tab will come out of the housing. Installation on the new is reverse of taking it off the old.

2-year-old Echo ES-250 started cutting out randomly from full throttle. No evidence of clogged filters, fouling, etc. I have two ES-250’s, the other is 4-years-old and it’s given me zero troubles. Based on supposition I decided it was the carburetor. So I was only shopping for a new carb, but came across this kit from HIPA that includes virtually everything but the motor!Shipment arrived quickly in new condition.Less than 20 min installation time if you’re familiar with small motors. It’s two bolts..So I reinstalled the new: fuel (including fuel filter) & breather lines, gas tank gasket, spark plug, carburetor, & air filter.Primed, started in 2 pulls and the machine runs great. Used thru two tanks of fuel no further issues.Small issues: 1) the spark plug isn’t OEM (ORM was NGK split, FWIW); 2) The inside gasket supplied didn’t quite mate up correctly, but I simply reused the original; 3) The primer bulb isn’t quite as pliable as original, but the kit includes two extra bulbs..Bottom line: Hopefully I won’t need to replace the carburetor on my other unit but if so I know I’d get another HIPA.
