The MLV models are the original air bag all-in-one "harness type" system. This model type is the perfect vest for daily riding or track use. With comfort and safety in mind, the MLV models offers lightweight comprehensive protection with airbags for your neck, back, ribs, and tailbone. The airbag is placed behind the key box and CO2 canister to ensure your ribs remain protected. The MLV-RC features the entire outer shell of the vest made from LUMIDEX, a reflective fabric that will allow you to be seen by drivers and other riders. Use a flashlight to test the vest and see for yourself.

Coiled Wire-W Racing Tether
For the RS-1 (Race Model), attach the coiled wire to the motorcycle and connect to the airbag. Two, one-touch releases are used to connect and disconnect the coiled wire in two steps. "Key Box on the back side only."

this is the ripcord for the hit air vests, the stock one, so it is what it is supposed to be. If you lost yours or just need one for another motorcycle this is the one you need

折角購入したヒットエアー(バイク用エアバッグ)を複数のバイクで使用する為に全バイクに取り付けて安全のために装着して運転しています。複数バイクを所有していてヒットエアーを持っているなら必須ではないでしょうか

It's a pretty basic cable. I paid $14.99 shipped for one in in Aug'23. I needed another one as the clasp deformed after hitting my exhaust. I'm basically forced to pay $37.50 for a 10 cent piece of plastic. I'd love to know why it increase 150%+.The product works...but the price is crazy.

全く問題無く使えます。これが無いと、ｈｉｔａｉｒ使えないですからね...。何度か立ちゴケでエアバッグを膨らませてしまいましたが、まだまだ使えそうです。

Bought this to replace the original one that came with the vest. I accidentally let the clasp fall on my hot exhaust a few times and it melted it to the point over time that it finally broke. I'd say that's fairly good longevity for 5 years.

Envío muy rápido. Con esta versión es más cómodo porque no corre peligro de que al ser larga la cuerda la pises con la rueda de la moto si algún día no lo llevas conectado.

I own more than one motorcycle, so getting an additional tether was a lot cheaper than getting another Hit-Air Vest!Installation was straightforward. Remove the seat and secure to a frame component. Be sure that it dangles on the right side and don't forget to re-install the seat!

Bit expensive only for the wire alone.... but given that it's from Japan and sturdy, the price may be reasonable.

I needed a replacement after I crashed hitting a deer at 60mph and flying / sliding about 200 ft. The vest did it's job perfectly only getting a bit scuffed up. All I had to show for the crash was a small dime sized bruise. The leash should be changed after a high speed crash. The rubber sleeving was ripped in one spot, but the core was still perfect. NEVER RIDE WITHOUT AN AIRBAG VEST!
