Hitch Step Installation Steps
- Slide the 2 '' square part of the bumper protector into the 2 '' receiver, with the groove step surface facing upwards.
- Align the bumper protector with the deepest hole position allowed by the receiver.
- Insert the hitch pin (included) and secure the hitch bumper to the receiver.
- Package included: 1 x receiver hitch step (including pin lock and stabilizer)

Very nice looking hitch step. However, there isn't much of drop to be used as a step into the truck. And it doesn't take much to bend out of shape when it's backed into something. Ask me how I know ;).

I like that it came with quality hardware, Nice solid durable hardware. There is a stabilizer plate you have to install on the back to get it to be 100% solid. Once it's torqued down it feels good to step on it's nice to have that extra little bit to get up into the van. The reflector on the back is simply that it reflector it is not a light. It does come with a locking tow hitch pin that comes with two keys and again nice quality. The texture they decided to apply to it seems durable and rough so it gives you a little more grip. There is also some flayed out metal that helps you grip as well. It took me about 10 minutes to install this tow hitch step. Overall it's a nice kit, I recommend it.

This is a well made and functional hitch step that makes accessing the bed or roof of a truck cap much easier. It is lightweight and easy to stow when not in use. A good value at the price point.

I just wanted a dropped step for the occasional step up into the back of our camper van and I was balking at paying well over $100 for all the ones I looked at. And then I came across this one and it's just great. It's sturdy and solid. It does need some shimming to keep it from wobbling in the receiver socket but it's perfect for our needs.
