It works great now the first one I bought worked for 30 minutes and it shut off would not come back on returned it. They immediately sent me another one out and this one works perfect thank you.

Plugged this in and immediately noticed air bubbles being generated in my sump. Was about to unplug it when the heater exploded under water. Glass went all over my sump and the house circuit tripped. Could have been damaged in shipment, but not taking the chance and purchased another brand.

This heater very easy to install, works great, like that you can see the numbers very easily. I use it for my turtle tank outside, just had to find a spot where the controller would not get wet, which was not that hard in my situation heated up my turtle tank very well overnight. In fact I had to reduce the heat a little bit this morning.

I needed a heater badly. This aquarium heater has been in use in our 55 gal aquarium for over a month now. It keeps the water at a very steady and stable temperature. I like that it has the option to mount horizontally or vertically, as I was able to then tuck it behind some driftwood to make it less noticeable. It is a large unit and can handle much larger tank sizes than what I’m using it for. So it may look a little oversized in my tank but it does the job perfectly!
