DO NOT BUY! Lifter trays are junk. Throw them in the trash. Lifters are garbage too. Went through the whole procedure of priming them and getting everything installed properly. One is collapsed right out of the box. Garbage. Wiped out the camshaft and ran metal through the motor. Whole motor is junk. Cannot give less that 1 star. DO NOT BUY!

The Angry Mechanic sez,These have been in for 2 months so I am giving them my blessing as a good set of lifters.For a GM LS engine with a stock camshaft. If you need to replace lifters make 100% sure your engine has good oil pressure when Hot.Measure it with an actual gauge, NOT the fake one in the instrument cluster dash (those are no better than an off/on lightbulb they are not accurate readings.)Sometimes lifters fail and people ASSUME it was just a bad lifter rather than look into WHY it failed.(Usually lack of maintenance, driving with low oil level, high mileage, or using inferior oil/filters.)

I have not used this hydraulic roller lifters yet. From what I can tell, they appear to be well-made. So far I don’t really have any complaints. I will update once I have the chance to get them installed.
