I got this to help control the motor temps on my very heavy and over geared TRX4. I’m running 3s and a HobbyWing Pro 2300kv motor. Have it over geared for more speed and without this fan and heat sink I can’t touch the motor because it gets to hot after a few mins of driving. With the fan and heat sink I can touch the motor and it’s still well below thermal shut down. It fit perfectly and so far hasnt broke in anyway.

Fan lost 6 of the 9 fan blades after one run. Aluminum heatsink works just fine. The plastic housed fan is junk. Get an aluminum housed fan and you will be all set. Just means another $15 to $20 more you will need to spend.

I was worried this fan would be ridiculously loud but it's actually not that bad. Definitely noticeable but not as loud as some of the smaller fans on heat sinks I've heard before. Fits my 540 can motor perfectly and the cable is more than long enough to reach my receiver.

I got it and went to install it and the black wire was pulled out of the connector. It looks like it was never landed correctly. I took the connector apart and tried to repair but the fan doesn’t run when installed in my rc car. I don’t think it is making a good connection. Those terminals are tiny and they really aren’t meant to have the wires disconnected and then reconnected

I purchased this to put on my Traxxas HOSS. The very first run after installing this heat sink and fan, my motor temps were 20 degrees cooler. Highly reccomended!
