This really is not worth the money. It doesn't have a solid backing and the individual sections are only separated by the thin top paper. You could do the same thing by making separate piles of beads on a table.Updated: I'm torn on this beading mat. Ultimately I do like it bc it stops my beads from rolling all over. Functionally it does a decent job. But it's still could use some tweaking to make the entire thing more efficient.

These mats are great and affordable. The bead scooper is very helpful. i would recommend this product to anyone needing many mats for a beading class.

I like that it separates the beads & makes it easy to work on projects, but OMG don't bump the thing or there will be an explosion of beads all over the place. It's very flimsy, so you need to take care while moving it because the lettered trays aren't that high. Also, due to what it's made out of, when it gets bumped the beads spring out of it like a shotgun blast. I picked it up to carefully move it after using it the first time, beads still in it because the project wasn't finished & although I was trying to be really careful, the corner of it tapped my keyboard & POP! Itty bitty size 11 see beads literally everywhere. I love the concept of this, but I need to find one with higher edges & a solid base so it's easier to move. I mean I can probably cut & glue a piece of cardboard to the bottom of this one, that would fix one of the problems.

This bead mat is perfect! It’s soft, light weight & durable, the perfect size to fit on my desk in front of the computer, I can bead away (just love the compartments for different beads) watch a movie or listen to a book while I work.

I love this little bead mat! Reasonably priced so I can buy more than one. It had a strong smell when I first opened it, but that dissipated soon after. Would definitely buy again and recommend also!
