I’ve have Hogue grips on all my pistols. They are comfortable to reduce felt recoil. They aid in control of the gun and they look good also.

I have Hogue grips on a Taurus revolver, and they cause the firearm to just dissolve into my hand (which is rather large). They add stability, sure hold and recoil control which makes an enormous difference with a 4”-barreled .44 RemMag, even with a ported barrel. The OEM grips for the Mk IV 22/45 are really pathetic, and I was very happy to see that Hogue made an upgrade for this little plinker as well. I was 𝐍𝐎𝐓 disappointed. Four small allen-head screws and a little arranging of the grip on the butt, and…. that same feeling of the pistol conforming to your hand and not the other way around. When buying - 𝐛𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐌𝐤 𝐈𝐕 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞. The 22/45 (the pistol will have “22/45” stamped on the right side just above and behind the trigger assembly) has a 𝐬𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝, "𝟏𝟗𝟏𝟏"- 𝐬𝐭𝐲𝐥𝐞 𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐭. All other Mk IVs have a sort of an inverted “U”-shaped butt, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝙉𝙊𝙏 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐥/𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞. I cannot praise Hogue grips highly enough. ‘Nuff said.

All these reviews are correct. These are very nice grips. I do wish there was some back strap, but it is not at all a reason to detract any stars. They were pretty easy to install, just make sure you do kinda stretch them over the screw mounts until they kinda pop into place.Very comfortable in the hand, and a bit wider. Feels very solid, once properly installed. I own a couple Hogue grip products, and they're just good value and add a lot.
