This is a large rubber grip. My hands are large so no big deal. Install is straightforward. Fits well. Have not shot it yet but believe it will take care of some of the .44 mag recoil.

THIS GRIP IS A GREAT REPLACEMENT FOR THE MAGNUM RESEARCH BFR. IT FITS VERY WELL. NOT PERFECT BUT VERY CLOSE. IT RESOLVES THE ISSUE OF THE SPACE BETWEEN THE REAR OF THE SQUARED TRIGGER GUARD AND STOCK GRIP, WHICH CAN BE UNPLEASANT ON THE FINGERS. IT IS A BIG PLUS FOR ME, SO IHIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. I HAVE CONVERTED MY MY BFR 45-70 AND 500 MAGNUM GRIPS AND AM VERY PLEASED.

This Hogue Monogrip for the Ruger Super Blackhawk (square trigger guard model) is easy to install, provides better control, and significantly reduces felt recoil from the powerful 44Mag cartridge. I love the Supper Blackhawk but the factory grips made a long day at the range a bit brutal on the hand, so my son asked me to get a better set of grips.We had the monogrip installed in under five minutes and I was actually very impressed with the clever design that ensured a perfect fit. The grip's finger groves feel "right" to my large hands and even in my son's huge paws.This is a great choice for "taming the beast"!Highly Recommended!CFH
