Bought this a long time ago. Carb is still sitting tore apart because the kit only came with one bowl gasket... However the rest of the gaskets that were there for assembly I did use and they fit fine. Only missing one bowl gasket from the kit I got..

all the parts I needed. But as my experience has been with everything Holley, the instructions, diagrams, etc are really poor. The kit ces with parts to fit a variety of different Holleycarb models with zero parts list to identify which to use. for example two pair of needle and seats were provided that look identical but have different part numbers stamped on them. Holley Web site was unhelpful in identifying which I should use for my application, so I had to guess.

I gave this product two stars because it was slightly below average, yet pretty frustrating. Holley needs to rethink the pricing of their kits, because quick fuel and pretty much everybody else makes a better kit for the same price. This is a kit for a vacuum secondary holley carburetor, so you would think it would have the vacuum secondary diaphragm, well you would be wrong. Order yourself a quickfuel 3-200 or an AED equivalent, with those you get a better quality gasket. I ordered this because the QFT 3-200 wasn't prime eligible, so I thought I would give this holley a try. Now I have to wait even more until my quickfuel kit gets here.

You need this kit, or something like it, to rebuild a Holley 1850 series carburetor. I had a bad experience with mine; I didn't notice that the gasket for the power valve came with 2 stuck together, so when I installed it, the two gaskets split apart, and allowed a huge fuel leak into the manifold. It took me a while to figure out why the carburetor was leaking so badly, thinking it was a bad (replacement) power valve. Of course the first time I took it apart, I broke all the bowl gaskets, and had to order another set. Also, the little O-rings that seal the transfer tube were very fragile, so I damaged those as well. So I had to get a full kit just for the two little O-rings, since I started to use the Moroso re-usable bowl gaskets. I'm much more careful taking it apart now.
