The unit is compact, easy to set up and responds every 24 hours for value.

It took roughly a week for the reading to level out. It’s been a little over a month and the readings are all pretty close to each other. I am looking at getting another type just to verify since I saw other comments questioning it. So far so good.

Easy to operate - but if you cannot trust the results, what good is it?!Living room reading, 4.18 Ci/LBasement reading, 4.20 Ci/LReading in wide open room at work, 4.13 Ci/LReading from a screened in porch, 4.36 Ci/L (Yah, that's 10-times what the EPA says is typical for outdoor Radon concentrations)That outdoor reading clinched it - the device was never calibrated by the manufacturer, so it is as good as Junk. This one is being returned so I can buy a different manufacturer's meter.

I would highly recommend this to anyone who lives in an area where radon is high. My oncologist recommended it because radon is a carcinogen.

Calibrated for about hour. Then measured for 24 hrs. Then gave a number, briefly, then showed 4 dashes for 2 days. The so called “buttons” did nothing. It was like pressing on a counter top. Then the whole screen was gray except for a large “21”. At some point the 21 changed to a 19. I had no idea what any of that meant. The instructions were abysmal. So so so bad. Spent a lot of ink telling you not to stick your finger in an electrical socket or some such nonsense. Returned. Purchased different one … cost more and has >1000 5 star ratings

I have used the canister style detectors that you send to lab, they work results in a week or so. This you start getting results the next day! and daily updates. Most people don't know that the radon levels change daily, this monitor can detect the changes and you can easily see if your home is safe or not.
