Our old fireplace set lost it's poker years ago to our firepit. I don't know what happened to the poker over tge years but I was pleased to find this almost duplicate replacement here on Amazon. It's well made, matches our old set and.... Works so well we've already confiscated it back to the firepit. Looks like we'll need a 2nd poker afterall!

My husband and family love this. We were in need of a fire poker for the outside fire pit. This one works great. It does come unscrewed sometimes. Other than that it is a great product.

works great. The handle and the poker come loose - use a bit of loctite and you are set. can't beat it for the price

While this looks like a solid steel poker, it is actually 3 steel pieces. The handle grip and poker tip both screw onto the rod. I had no issue getting them on, or with the poker tip; however the handle seemed loose, and kept coming unscrewed. No need to send it back though, folks, because I simply use a piece of tape around the rod thread, then re-tightened the handle. I suppose one might even use some contact cement, but that doesn't seem necessary. A tiny piece of black take worked for me.

This poker is fine, gets a lot of mileage with us.The quality seems to be fine, although (reason it gets 3/5 stars) the bottom part continuously gets loose. One time i almost lost it in the flames...and had to wait for it to cool down, so i can screw it again. Good product, but bottom part keeps coming loose.

Great price for a simple fire poker.. the tip and handle do thread tighten on, i can see why people are say check it make sure its tight, im using it for a simple fire pit on the patio, i have some high temp locktite in the garage few drops and i dont see having any issues with it..

What can I say, it's a standard fireplace / firepit poker. I use it for my firepit and it can both lift the spark guard with the hook, and move wood around with the poker. Solid, sturdy, and matches the black iron of any firepit.The only negative is you have to check from time to time that the handle is screwed tight into the shaft. But nothing that's worth docking a star from the review.

This is a good quality poker. I agree that it may have been a little better if it was just one piece since the end seems to want to unscrew at times but it's still an excellent product.
