magnetic piece is so small and has to be on metal so doesn't help line up fabric before it passes through the needle so it's useless.

I love this measures the seam line with perfect accuracy. Once measured jut pop on the magnetic seam allowance stops.

The magnet is sturdy and the ruler works fine. I didn't expect to use the ruler to line your needle up with the correct hole, but that is how it works. I can really only use one magnet. Not sure what to do with 2 unless I lose one. I do think they copied from Madam Sew though. I also purchase one from Madam Sew and like it better.
