If only it had some instructions, wasn't that hard to figure out, but I do have a couple unused pieces that I've no clue what they are for. I also drilled a hole through the bottom of the tube and ran a screw through it so the flag pole can't drop out the bottom. Don't need it scratching the piss outta my bumper. As with most things, I went to the hardware store and replaced everything with quality shit for under $10 and highly recommend you do the same.Otherwise, I'd drop 5 stars on it. Was easy to install, even without instructions, though I did have to RE-install it as they way I did originally, my rear window hit the flag pole with the tailgate opened all the way.Once installed properly, it works as you'd expect. Holds my flag pole great, it's seated nicely with rubber between the brackets and my paint. Been a couple weeks now, no complaints!

Bought this for a Memorial Day parade and it did not disappoint. There was no directions but you can find a videos on installing it, pretty simple.

Glad I found the very sloid set up to hold my 5ft steel flag pole on my Jeep Wrangler JL. Just had to buy longer M10 mounting bolts due to the Heavy Duty Tire holder I needed to put on for my oversize tires. The M10-40 supplies were too short needed to get M10-60 to attached to back door hinges.Also on the mounting brackets they actually had attached rubber spacers on them so I didn't need to put rubber spacers between them and the painted surface. Great Job Hooke for doing this!!!!

Ordered and excited to use at Jeep Invasion…well, excitement was short-lived!“Set” screw would not tighten…just kept spinning as soon as the inside touched the flagpole. This was our first use and as soon as my wife drove away the set screw flew off/broke in the street somewhere and the mount is now useless…of course return window closed yesterday! Buyer Beware…You’ve been warned!

Hardware showing signs of rust after only a couple of weeks!! Will have to scrub out this rust and treat the hardware. Otherwise, this flag holder is just as described.

This mount works as it should, easy to install, and holds a broom handle sized pole just right. Make sure the pole you are using inst small enough to by pass the stop that is screwed into the tube for the pole.

It’s a nice brush aluminum unit. More sturdier than I thought it would be. The M10 bolts thread in nicely and they appear to be stainless steel bolts. The only things that I did to help modify this holder was.... first I cut up scrap rubber mat 1/8” and put them behind the 2 clip mounts that get mounted to the tailgate. There is no padding on the clip parts and I didn’t want it mounted strait on my paint.Second I drilled and tapped a 1/4-20 hole toward the bottom of the tube itself so I could run a 1/4-20 bolt through my flag pole so I knew it wouldn’t come out. The tube has no bottom so it would either rest on my bumper or try to have it stay in place with the retention knob that comes with the unit.Over all I am very pleased and with very slight modifications I know my flag won’t budge or hurt my paint!
