Good stuff. Used Hoppe's products for many, many many years on a variety of firearms from 100+ years old to more recent acquisitions. . Never had an issue. HOWEVER, AMAZON shipping almost had a major problem. Somehow the lid for the Hoppe's came loose and some dribbled out. Fortunately not much, just enough to discolor the box. If the contents of the bottle had dribbled out an entire shipment could have been contaminated. Not good.

Great bore cleaner...works really well. A little goes a long way and this bottle should last forever. Use this on long guns as well as pistols.

I'll say first, I am one who HATES the smell of Hoppes 9. It gives me a headache after a while.That being said, I've used Hoppes 9 since I cleaned my first gun, somewhere in the 80s. It's safe, effective, inexpensive, and can be found anywhere. I've never not been able to clean a gun with 9. There may be other products that can do a deeper clean, or perhaps more of a copper remover if your barrel is heavily copper fouled.....but still, this WILL work and clean your gun.This is the only gun cleaner I will ever own.

Its formula lifts residue from powder, lead deposits, or metal fouling and gets the job done efficiently.The large bottle containing 1 quart or 32 fl oz offers great value for your money.Other than the strong smell it's a great cleaner.

Bought the 32 oz because for the price I'm always paying for the tiny 2oz bottle it was half the price over time and I cannot find this big of a size, if any, locally. Not sure what the shelf life is like if kept in original bottle but I've never had an issue with other bottles going bad sitting for awhile. I used a funnel to fill an smaller, empty, 2 oz bottle for easier use when cleaning guns. Product arrived on time and didn't have to pay the insane $30+ hazardous shipping fee most others will charge. This has been and always will be my go to choice for cleaning my guns.

I've used this product in the past and it does a good job. My only beef is that when I received the package from Canada Post, it was loaded with soya sauce. Could this be a protest by the anti-gun lobby hidden in the ranks of the post office or customs? It's sad when law abiding hunters get their mail vandalized for no other reason than that they are hunters. Absolutely shameful!
