These pliers, are not plated, and will rust if brought into contact with water. This said, they are very effective for removing and replacing radiator hose clamps.

For years I've used needle nose to clip & unclip click-r clamps (as I cursed the little buggers). This tools alleviates all the hassle and simplifies hose removal & instalation.It's made me a believer in the click/click-r system.

Used this to change fuel filter in a diesel Mercedes. Opened and closed hose clamps with ease. The one I got did have a chip on the metal clamping edge which I was not happy about, so the quality of the tool is not the best. For casual home user it is fine.

These work perfectly for removing and installing the clic type clamps that are present on so many European cars.I went with these because of the price, thinking Iād probably get a few uses out of them and then have to get the Matco ones. These are nearly identical to those for 1/5 the price and they work perfectly.
