They look nice but they slip way too much. Stock pads were so much better. I have the slipper tightened all the way and it’s still slipping.

Replaced/Upgraded my old pads for these, and they seem to be working well, haven't got a lot of time on them yet but they installed very easily, only thing to watch out for is they fit loosely on the posts so be careful reassembling your slipper clutch or they can fall off.

Bought these for my VXL Rustler. I wasn't sure what to expect. I had to super glue them on to the pressure plate. (they stay on fine) They seem to work great and we have hours on them already. With the stock slipper clutch pads I would tighten it all the way and back the nut off about 1/8 of a turn. I think I back it off closer to 1/4 turn with these. At 1/8 of a turn it didn't slip much at all. These broke in pretty quick. I guess the stock pads break in quick too. I take it easy for a while when I change these. Drive at medium speed and less for about 5 minutes.Another reviewer said they were too long. I don't understand that. They are longer than stock but maybe aluminum needs more surface area? Not sure but they work just as good as stock and may last longer.I was expecting a noticeable difference. The only difference is a slight (hardly noticeable) change in sound when it is slipping and I loosened the nut a hair more to get the same results as stock pads.

These will last longer that the composite sock pads. Been running the daylights out of mine and barely broke in. I ordered some short ones to replace these long ones. These are too long for my stock Rustler VXL slipper. Still work, just think the stock size will have more material making contact with the slipper plate.
