Packaging wad smashed, so I had to return and order a new one. It's a 3rd or 4th I've ordered over the last couple of years for gifts and we have one to use ourselves. It's easy to use. 4 stars because the foil cutter got brocken after a short use.

This doesn’t open wine the way it says it should. The cork is stuck inside the cork screw. It’s not worth your money, do not purchase!

This might be an unnecessary tool for occasional wine drinkers (I am). But it makes opening the bottles a breeze. Please read the instructions. I thought it was broken because I didn’t read. You need to hold the button for a few seconds after the corkscrew reaches the bottom before it removes it.

I had previously purchased 2 as a gift for one couple with 2 houses.. They used one and I was impressed with how quiet it was.I had previously purchased another brand for myself, very similar and similarly priced and it also worked great (but it came without the foil cutter and stopper accessories). I would have ordered that one even though I was annoyed with how noisy it was. Fortunately, it is not available anymore. So..I ended up ordering this one for the gift. I loved the way it worked and wanted one for myself.For the price, it was a no brainer. I ordered 2 more. One for me and one as a future gift for someone.Another plus... My old one would roll and was always in danger of falling off the table. This one doesn't roll beyond a half turn of its diameter. Great product.Too soon to tell but from all indications the battery life will be good.
