I put this on my back before going outside. It took 30 minutes or so to get up to temperature, so I didn't think it was working at first, but then it stayed warm the whole time I was out in the cold. I'm not sure how much it really does for keeping my body temp up, but with how big it is it really did help me stay comfortable! I set it on the counter and got downstairs the next morning (12 hours later): it was still putting out heat. I'm definitely keeping these around the house through the winter!

What’s better than Hot Hands hand and foot warmers? The answer is Hot Hands body warmers! I am someone who absolutely loves my heated car seat and how it can warm my body up almost faster than the heat in the car. These body warmers will be used in much the same way as my heated car seat. These will be my go to during camping season when the days (and nights) are colder. The season starts when it is still chilly outside and although the campfire helps, adding one of these to my back and settling into a camping chair, I’m expecting the same kind of all over warmth I get in the car. I also will be using these for those times at camp when I want a heating pad, but don’t don’t want to be indoors, plugged in. These are like mini portable heating pads.

This is perfect for snow/ski days where you want a heat source close to your body and underneath the insulating layers of your jacket. You can stick this directly to you back or over a base layer but under a jacket and is does a great job at providing heat between clothing layers. These are much larger than the standard hot hands packs as well so they generate a lot of warmth.

These are good but not great. I've used their hand warmers for close to 30 years for hunting and fishing trips. These are a cool concept but fall a bit short for me.They do get warm and they will definitely make a difference on a cold day. But, if you're moving around they don't stay exactly where you want them. That's primarily because you affix them to your clothing rather than to your body. I actually like that as you can/ could replace them without exposing skin in the elements. But, if you're moving around they tend not to keep any one place that warm.For outdoor games, events, hunting, fishing where you will be mostly in one spot these are great and you'll likely enjoy them. For a lot of movement you may require something else. It would also be nice if they were warmer faster. I tend to open them later than I should and then have to wait for the heat. Open them early and let them work and you'll be happy.

Unfortunately not Lava or Hot enough, double package with adhesive on back side tried them according to instructions and no not warm or hot enough, similar small hand warmers work much better minus the adhesive...

These work great and as described. My daughter uses them when playing in cold outdoor soccer games, and my dad uses them through the winter as his job is outdoors. Have bought several times and would recommend.
