House of Kolor products are my go-to for when the best results are needed! The paint flows out great; saves a lot of time by not having to knock down excessive orange peel. Always yields beautiful colors, either straight out of the bottle or when combined with other colors in the HOK line; this build will use a combination of Gamma Gold base coat with a 50/50 mix of Kandy Root Beer and Kandy Tangerine and Kandy Root Beer Base with Kandy Root Beer over. Same colors as used on the 1:1 “Slow Burn” Auburn by Rick Dore.

I got the base coat in an rattle can. Covered and sprayed as it should. Finished with a 2k clear. The project turned out near perfect. Love the color. Shopping was fast for a custom can. Would 100% recommend!

Not bad for a backyard painter, wish it came in a pint or quart container

First I’d like to point out the “ready to spray” is a liquid already reduced that just requires a spray gun but is not a rattle can. The 4oz did 3 coats on a coffee cup I was test to see if I like the color on and it is beautiful in my opinion. Pictures are 3 base coats and 3 coats of clear. Sprayed excellent and great looking quality. Will be buying a few quarts to do my motorcycle in.

It was an amazing result and very easy to use. Took the body off my GEM, scalped off all the peeling clear coat. Repaired the cracks with a little fiberglass and body filler. Primed it with a mix of grey and black 2K primer, used the HOC apple burgundy then hit it with two coats of 2K clear glamour. Love it.

Though the color is right on, the spray itself is very poo. When triggered, the spray delivers 2-3 "splotches" of darker product until a perfect mixed pattern. Additionally, the propellant causes fume degradation that causes the finish to appear cloudy, which you won't notice until it flashes and you're still waiting for that section to clear up.I'm in the middle of a project that I have struggled with, including sanding out blotches and propellant fume spots for days ( and I have painted professionally for decades). Now unless I change the entire scope of the project and go to HVLP air and gun system, I have to buy MORE of this disappointing product to finish, when two cans should have been a lot more than enough for what I'm painting.Bottom line: May be OK for model kits, but not motorcycle finishing!

The bottom line is the cans come with a directional fan nozzle like most of the Dupli-Color paints do. It was very easy to spray without runs, almost as easy as spraying a primer. The can product page and can says the formula can be top coated with either acrylic lacquer or urethane enamel so just an all-around great product. works with both I've always loved HOK paints but never wanted to spend all of the money required for the proper equipment, then the cost of the paint and associated chemicals required to go along with that all topped off by wasting money trying to lean how mix and spray it correctly. Then comes along this wonderful magic of pre-mixed 12 cans of HOK paint! Now of course if I painted every day on lots of projects or did it as a job paying around $45 for a 12 ounce can of paint would be crazy but for a few small projects that I have planned like the subwoofer enclosures already done and the new engine cover waiting it's turn, the cost of these cans against the cost all of the equipment, materials and training required to use the quarts or gallons is more than worth it. Sorry that I don't have pictures on the subwoofers out after painting them but I was in a time crunch to get the all of the wiring and AMP install but I'll attach the as purchased pictures, sanded down to fiberglass and the installed painted product. I'll try to get a couple of pictures of the out of the car and in the sun for a better look and add those later. I highly recommend this product.
