I bought this for my 7 year old as a Christmas present as she had been asking for one all year. She had tried out hoverboards before with friends, so she already knew how to ride when she got hers, so I wasn't worried she was too young. This hoverboard is great, especially for younger kids as the foot pads are wide and it is sturdy. The lights are really fun! The app is so-so, but it is fun you can play music to the board. The board has help up really well on all kinds of terrain - mostly pavement, but she has "off-roaded" and it was fine. I'm impressed that the speed is decent, though it does beep as a warning when she goes fast and that is a little annoying because it doesn't stop until she slows down. It does take a while to charge, but this is true of all boards, so nothing out of the ordinary there. Very pleased with the board and hopefully it will last a while!

We bought it as a Christmas gift. It would charge, but as soon as you took it off charge it wouldn’t turn on and it looked as though the battery was dead. Spoke to someone who promised us an expedited replacement…. Once we received the tracking information we saw it wouldn’t be arriving until a month later. We cancelled the order, I would not recommend this product.
