Nice looking bolo tie. Perhaps not heirloom quality, but looks and wears just fine. I just started wearing bolo ties with the Western style vests I wear, and this is a nice addition to my modest collection of bolo ties. It’s probably one of my favorite ones.I ordered the “Black Agate Bolo Tie.” This is a mid sized piece that wears well. The cord is certainly long enough for me and I am taller than most. The metal looks fine. Wouldn’t surprise me if it’s some zinc alloy that might have a silver colored plating. It’s not really shiny like polished stainless steel or chrome would be, although not exactly the same look as sterling silver with a natural patina would have either. The stone certainly could be a natural stone. It is a very attractive piece.The “hand braided leather leather type material” is certainly braided, although I doubt any animal contributed to the production of this leather. It has a lot of stretch to it, much more than a natural leather braided cord I have. But again, for this application and price point I’m happy with it. The cord is held in place with a clip you depress against the cord. While the typical friction fit usually works, this is a superior way of securing the cord.This is an attractive bolo tied for an attractive price. I think it looks good on me and I certainly will recommend this bolo tie.

I had an upcoming event that required western dress, and the only thing I was missing was a nice bolo tag. I saw this one and thought it would be a quick addition to the wardrobe. When it arrived, I was blown away. This is a tie you'd expect to find in a high-end jewelry store somewhere in the Southwest. The leather is top quality, the metal tips look like real silver, and the stone is substantial, more than I expected. The clasp on the back works perfectly and allows me to adjust the tie to whatever length I'm comfortable with. I'll probably go back to the site and pick up more of these. Great product.

I got this as part of a western outfit I will be wearing for a western themed party. I didn't want to go with an entire ensemble that I will probably never wear again so I opted for some accessories. This has been great. The necklace is really nice and well made. I love the colors of the shell and it looks expensive. There is a clasp on the back to adjust it to where you want the strings to lay which is nice. This has really elevated my otherwise simple outfit for the party. Nice accessory.
