I love everything about these... they are "Food Grade" 90 mils strong... GREAT handle on the bottom to help dump out 5 gallons of car wash material. So I had asked (pre-sales) before buying these, where the seller thought that Grit Guards might not work with the indentation of the bottom handle intruding into the bottom inside of these buckets. BUT I VERY HAPPY to report that again... Grit Guards & the Grit Guard Washboards work great. Where the Grit Guards even hover a lil' bit further above the bottom. Which I personally like them having a lil' further above the bottom!!! Plus the Gamma2 Seal Lids fit like a glove (which the Gamma 2's take some good hand strength to install but it's worth it to keep dust out of the buckets between washes).So now I have basically made "custom" color coordinated buckets for my own personal auto detailing... and we will be buying more of these for my wife... along with the sold separately Snappy Grip handles that I also installed onto these very well made Hudson Exchange 5 Gallon Buckets with their Bottom Grip Handle and HDPE.Well I hope that might perhaps be helpful to others out there! 😇

Really only wanted 1 bucket but couldn’t find any others with the handle on the bottom which was my main requirement. So I bought the group of 5 figuring we could always use a 5 gallon bucket somewhere else sometime. I got this for doing laundry in an RV that doesn’t have a built in washer. I wanted a new clean bucket that hadn’t been used for anything else and being a senior, I know how hard it can be to carry and dump a 5 gallon bucket with water and possibly The bucket was handy to load laundry supplies in for compact storage in the RV. As it turned out, I had access to a laundry mat within easy walking distance. So I didn’t use the bucket this time. But you never know when you will need a bucket in an RV/camping situation so I’m glad we had it. It does seem very strong and just experimenting with it, I can tell the bottom handle is a game changer for ease and control of emptying and even for carrying if it’s not full of liquid. If we have to use it for something “unsavory “ on a trip, I have more new ones to replace it.

The handle on the bottom was a great idea - I love it. I'm a 65 year old woman who still loves to garden. These buckets are great for hauling sand/gravel etc. around. I've been using them for a few weeks and they seem very well made. The hand-grip on the bottom is extremely handy.

Not sure how many stars to give this, because the product is excellent, but when I purchased it, it was way overpriced.I had a bucket that was black in color and was a good value for the money. The bucket is strong like most other 5 gallon buckets, but... it has a handle! I love the handle! I use this for fish tank water, and it's so easy to pour the water IN the tank without going in FRONT of the tank. But alas, my husband took the bucket and used it for, well, I'm not sure. But since it was gone and my tank needed cleaning, I bit the bullet and spent way too much for this bucket because I LOVE THIS BUCKET!Would I buy this again? Of course. It's awesome. HOWEVER, I would wait for the price to decrease to at least being similar to other 5 gallon buckets if my fishs' comfort and lives didn't depend upon it.
