The safety rope is 30 feet in length, when wrapped around the tree and through the eye loop wrap it around the tree, pull the carabiner with the slip knot, put the rest of the rope through the large loop, pull it tight, and then slip the black slip knot into the tree. This is the most convenient way to secure yourself safely in a tree while hunting, keeping you safe while climbing up a tree stand or hunting. What's more, the adjustable length allows you to easily move around the tree.
The sheath of the hunting safety rope is made of 32 strands of high tenacity polyester woven together, and the core is made of 16 strands of high tenacity polyester woven together. The safety rope has a strength of 4,500 pounds and is rated for a 350-pound hunter, a Prusik knot strength of 2,400 pounds, and a climbing buckle strength of 2,200 pounds. There are reflective and non-reflective material safety ropes for hunters to choose from. Reflective material that "glows" under a weak flashlight beam to determine your location in low light conditions.

This line is very useful for what we do in the woods very safe to use when climbing trees getting ready to hunt. I really do recommend this to all the outdoor hunters out there.

Very high quality Lineman's Rope providing you the security to know that this won't be your last climb. I am 68 years old and still like to climb ladders and trees to maintain areas around my house. I have read numerous accounts of DYI'ers that fall and end their careers (or life). I take an extra 15 minutes to put on a harness and use this Lineman's Rope and now don't worry about falling. Now my wife doesn't complain about my crazy projects!!

I used a fixed length line before and this one makes a big difference. The adjustable length gives you much more freedom on the tree stand to turn around and find the best position for a specific situation. It looks sturdy and feels safe. I weigh around 180

I've used this about 50 times this season and it shows no sign of wear. The carabiners are relatively inexpensive but work well enough and have a screw guard that needs a spot of oil every couple weeks.my only complaint is that it is relatively bulky and heavy compared to the higher cost Sterling 9.5mm rope I use to rappel.I have no problem using this as a single tie point in the tree

Great choice for lineman’s rope. It is a tad long, at 10 feet, and a little heavy, but it works great. Prussic to end of carabiner is about 12” so it is a tag long for my liking(iPhone 12 for comparison) I use mine for saddle hunting, but this would be an excellent choice for anyone hunting out of a tree.
