Got these 9 years ago. Still going strong, including a couple situations that should have ripped them off. Super happy.

They’re not custom fit, they’re designed to fit multiple vehicles not including an 08 Tacoma as described. The provided holes in the flaps were out by over an inch. If you want custom fit go to your local Toyota parts department.

Looks great, fit perfectly, fair price and Made in USA!!!If you need new plastic rivets, Lowe's sell them in their hardware section. My factory ones broke off when I tried to remove them, they were old and brittle. After seeing some comments about the holes not lining up here's what I found. The holes are perfect, but the inside bolt needs to be started first then leave all the bolts slightly loose until they are all threaded in. If you install the outer bolts first, the inside one won't line up. I did autobody and paint for over 10 years, learned a few tricks. Hope this helps someone out.

My OEM mudguards on my 07 Tacoma ripped. These mudguards are a great replacement! They are a thicker plastic which makes them more stiff, and they are slightly shorter than OEM. Neither of those two characteristics are bad as they have worked great for eight months through mud and a Canadian winter. It was also a super easy install. I would not hesitate to recommend these.

I purchased these Husky (No relation to the Home Depot brand) mud guards because one of my stock guards snapped as I backed it over a small curb. The stock ones that come on the Toyota Tacoma in '10 are not as good as these. I will likely be purchasing a pair for the rear as well. The Husky guards are a bit shorter as is seen in the photo, but they also cover more area in the wheel well and inturn, protect more of your frame near there. The company claims they are laser fitted and it appears they did a good job with the design there. The stock guard is on the left. The Husky is on the right. They are easy to install and come with all the necessary hardware. You do not need to order anything separate or take extra care when removing the old guards. The stock hardware is flimsy and I found pieces of it were already broken off from normal wear and tear anyways. I was only able to recover 2 of them in total for both guards. This won't be an issue with these as they use #10 SEM screws and U-clips instead.I was able to get them both on with only turning the wheels, no need to remove them. I have made no rating for durability yet, but Husky guarantees, "they will not break or tear under normal usage during the life of the motor vehicle in/on which they are installed."They are also made in the USA, if where you spend your money matters to you.

Ordered and fits nicely. Installed by myself, admittedly a non-mechanical guy. Large fingers beware - you will have some difficulty jamming them into the rear of the bolt hole to get everything lined up - child labour recommended. Make sure you lay down a blanket under the work station so that you can easily find the bolt(s) if they fall during installation falls. And if it falls in the plastic of the truck moulding, a strong rare earth magnet will help pull it out. Product is way more durable than original factory rubber. I really only wanted 1 side, but within a year my other one failed so I was glad I got the set of 2.

Item fits well after some struggle with accessing the appropriate screws on the wheel wells. I have a '05 Toyota Tacoma four-door pickup, with oversized tires. While the rear mudguards go on fairly easily, I would suggest removing (!) the front tires before attempting the install. It allows for easier access. The items look fairly decent, although they are obviously plastic. The rain season has just begun for us, so time will tell how efficient they are long-term. I would also suggest purchasing the "clips" which are mentioned in other reviews, as they make for an easier installation. Seems to be a fine product and am pleased with the exact fit. Also one additional problem with the oversized tires, which rub slightly against the mudguards when making a strong turn. Of course, this only occurs with the front steering wheels. It is a distinct rubbing or scraping sound, and only occurs at the extreme end of a complete turn. It is not intolerable and the protection the guards offer make it easier to take. Overtime this may (!) cause extra wear on the mudguards and I will be monitoring this to be sure...

My original Tacoma front wheel driver-side mudflap tore off at 65 mph on a regular highway. It was just the wind that tore it off. I looked into what Tacoma mudflaps would cost from the Toyota dealership. Just one, (not a pair) was close to $95 (and that does not include the 3 per mudflap, plastic clips @ $2 a piece). I shopped around and found a universal pair of mudflaps for $17 at an auto parts store, but the modification to the mudflaps to make them fit (and they still probably would not look right) was a big turnoff, so I kept looking. I finally ran across these "Husky Liners Custom Fit Front Mudguards", Model 56931, on Amazon for $38 and ordered them. They fit perfectly, and I did not have to drill a single hole, they installed just like the originals. The hardware that comes with them does not work, due to my 2007 Tacoma having a plastic fender liner in addition to the mudflaps. But the original mudflap machine screws (three per mudflap) can be reused. The 3 plastic clips on the original mudflaps will probably be destroyed taking off the remnants of the old mudflap, so you will need to replace them (the Husky Mudguards only need two for each mudflap). I found identical replacement plastic clips on Amazon offered as "15 Toyota Mudguard & Panel Clips Camry Tundra 4-Runner", manufacture number 2947337 for $10. These were identical to the original clips for my 2007 Tacoma mudflaps. Since there are 15 there are enough plastic clips to replace all 4 mudflaps with extras to spare. So for $48, (1/4 the cost of buying the "genuine Toyota front mudflaps"), I was able to replace my original 2007 Tacoma front mudflaps, with an after-market product which looks better, is built better, looks a heck of a lot more durable, and fits just as well as the original.
