Not as good as the last one I used. Must have been a different one. The white layer wore out very quickly. Have to go back to sanding

This is my first sanding sponge, so my rating may be too high. But it did well on a area of about 3' x 4'. No dust and easy to use and clean.

A sanding sponge is a great tool for finishing without the choking dust produced by standard sanding. The smooth side is great, but the rough side deteriorated quickly. Took one star off

Sanded 3 6-foot ceiling cracks that I repaired with EZ sand. I didn't want a dusty mess so I got the Hyde Drywall Sanding Sponge. Saturated it, wrung it out and sanded with a light touch along my repair. Rinsed and wrung several times in a bucket of water. It did what I wanted it to do.. I ended up with an smooth sanded ceiling with no dust residue. You must be careful to not overdo it, since too much sanding and too much water will re-activate the EZ Sand and remove it. Easy does it. If you have to go over it again, be sure to let it dry completely before sanding again.
