A definite MUST have! The Brass Connectors are the way to go as you can disconnect from the bleeder valves with no mess and the same goes for have the brass disconnect at the Helm when filling, No mess at all!

Even though it says its made for seastar, it would not fit my fill opening. The threads look very similar, but it will not screw down enough for the oring to seal. Which lead so a mess of oil spilling all over the carpet. Also, after looking at this in person, I'm not sure how the bleeder fittings would work to flush the system. Both end have a quick connect fitting (those seem to be high quality fittings by the way) and like most quick connect fittings they do not flow fluid unless another coupling is inserted. So if needing to flush out old fluid and air, there is no way to do that short of cutting off one of the quick connect fittings.

It worked great. No issues with fittings , leaks or incorrect thread size. I had to replace the gaskets on the ram so I was starting with a completely dry system. I had the entire system bled in less than 10 minutes

I didn't make sure it was in the clear when I used it the first time so I ordered the tube that goes on the steering unit and will be careful next time.

Much cheaper alternative than what’s available on the market. I bought the higher end one and this one and they are the same
