I have been looking at flotation belts to purchase and so glad this is the one I chose. The strap is web vice a stretchy strap that other belts have, and closes with a buckle vice velcro. This is the same belt the rec center has for us to use for the deep water aerobics classes. I got a different style belt for a gift but it did not provide the floatability and comfort that this belt provides. A friend lent me her belt, which was slimmer, but it did not provide the floatability that this belt does. It is a little more expensive than other belts but like the saying “You get what you pay for”. I love it! This is a keeper…you will not be disappointed with this purchase.

I take a water aerobics class every week. With this life saving belt I wouldn't feel safe getting into the water.This belt is made very well, quite durable, very comfortable, easy to use with adjusted fit. Functions great in shallow or deep water and does its job keeping me afloat. I would definitely wear this anywhere around water. Will save your life.The only thing is that it's sizable. Doesn't fold down to smaller size so I'm always holding this big bulky float to and from my class. However without it, I wouldn't even go to the class.

My review is what it is because the product didn’t have a great detailed description (i.e., what type flotation - type II, III, etc.) and now I can’t return it. Don’t buy for swimming it will not keep you above the water.

Fits - size. Material comfortable and quality. Keep afloat as expected. I am a member of our local university gyms - both with indoor and outdoor pools. This is the exact belts they use for water aerobics classes. I wanted one for my own use when I attend other pools. I was hoping the quality would be the same. Thank you for a wonderful product !!!

My gym uses this particular brand of water belt and now I know why! People were always taking them home and never bringing them back so I got tired of not having my size at the gym. After borrowing other peoples belts I quickly understood this is THE BEST water belt! just buoyant enough for deep water aerobics, stays out of the way and stays where you put it! I would suggest the clip closure. Im in love!

I use the float in the deep end of the pool for aqua therapy. It is terrific and I am glad to have my own.

Use for treading water, water aerobics. Keeps me buoyant so my neck and shoulders can stay relaxed and not scrunch up. Otherwise, I would not need it. Have 2 of them - one for pools at home, and one for vacation home at the beach, where I use in canal. The city public pools and our country club pools use this brand belt for their classes. More expensive than many, but worth it.
