This scoop feels balanced in hand and does the job of adding ice to cocktail glasses perfectly. Too new to comment on rust resistance, durability or DW safety.

Top quality low cost ice scooper to keep in the freezer espc if you have an icemaker which over produces ice and cloggs up the dispenser - of which there are many fridges. You open the ice drawer keep this scoop in the freezer and scoop out the ice - or keep it in the ice tray box itself if deep enough. Also you can use for any LARGE ice bucket as well. This is a LARGE one please note and is very well made. Does the job.

So much better than the plastic one that comes with the refrigerator. Steel seems good. Been usi5for the last 6 months. It's working well. Scoops the ice easily. Good size and dishwasher safe too. Happy about this purchase

Keep it in the ice bin in the freezer. Very high quality, but it is too cold on the hands. Replaced it with a plastic one.

This is a strong scoop. We are using it for our salt bin in the closet by the front door. Canadian winters give cause to apread salt on the front steps and walk. This is just big enough to work.
