We bought these months ago for my sons new hockey skates. Not only are they fairly simple to put on, but these rollers allowed him to break in his skates faster and improve his skating ability exponentially because he was always wearing them. The instructions do say to cut the extra portions of the skate guard, but we kept it on so that they can be used with his next pair of skates, and the extra bits at the back of his skates made his ice skating easier because he was now skating without it more freely - almost like the donut they put on bats in the on deck circle, or ankle weights for basketball players.

This is by far my favorite purchase. My daughter plays hockey and shes one of the coolest kids now because she has this attachment for her skates. Im constantly getting asked where i got them. Pretty easy and straightforward to put together

My son LOVES these & we've gotten many comments on the convenience of having them. One of the rubber strapped snapped. We purchased a second pair and 1 month after having them a second strap snapped. That was not too big of a deal because we still had one from our prior purchase. Well, about 6 weeks later another snapped. It would be great if they sold just the rubber piece because the roller portion is still in great shape.**update added a star because I found reasonably priced replacement parts at the company's website**

My 10 year old daughter has been asking for these since last hockey season!!! She loves being at hockey tournaments and rolling through the lobby!!!! They’re able to be adjusted as her skates grow with her and they fit nicely in her hockey bag!

Bought two pair. A wheel broke on one and the company was good about sending a replacement. Now the back strap is splitting. When I went to the Rollerguard site to buy a replacement ($6.95 for two, which seems like a good deal), I was appalled by the shipping charge of nearly $17! I had recommended Rollerguards to all of my daughter's teammates--now I'm not so sure.

We were at an outdoor ice hockey tournament and saw a kid with these on ... I thought they were the coolest things . As soon as my son saw them " mom please can I can them " they made a great Christmas gift '''' I can get him ready at home and he can just roll right into practice . No need to get to the rink 45 minutes early . Totally worth ever penny

I bought those guards for my 8 years old son. He loves his new roller guards.Pros; Nice design, very solid. adjustable to any size. His teammates want them. Fun to use.Con; Hard to stop. Using only a couple of minutes, between car to the locker room.My son loves using them but it's really short time. Once he gets to the locker room he takes them off. I don't know it's worth it if you are using them as guards. It's fun but sometimes dangerous. Use them with caution. I don't let him use them when we visit a new ice rink since we don't know if there is steep or steps. You have to be careful when you use them for the first time. It's hard to stop.Put your name on, black one is popular than others.Your teammates might have same one.Overall, I'm satisfied with this rollergars. Hope my growing son uses them for years to come.

Bought them for myself. Happen to fit a K2 size 10 (mens) and hoped for the best (my wife's size 6 hockey skates were no problem).Worked out fine (no stop though - not enough length to the blade cover to reach past the rear wheel - stop won't touch the ground). I don't use those anyway. Great design - bear in-mind the 200lb. weight limit - these are made of nylon, not steel. Great idea though!
