Use Guidance:
Make sure you choose the correct size of tube before you use this expander tool. Our swaging kit heads come with 7 sizes of heads: 3/8'', 1/2'', 5/8'', 3/4'', 7/8'', 1'' and 1-1/8'', suitable for O.D. of pipes.
- Anneal the tube before expanding if necessary (for hard or thick wall tube), in case of tube cracking.
- Insert the deburrer into the tube and rotate it to deburr the tube.
- Screw the specific expander head clockwise on expander.
- Put the end of tube on expander head.
- Tighten the relief value knob to 'ON' position, then pump the handle until the tube is expanded completely.
- Turn the relief value knob to 'OFF' position to loosen expander head, then remove the tube. And connect the tubes after completing expansion.

Two types of copper tubing: hard drawn and soft drawn. This tool will SPLIT hard drawn tubing if you don’t anneal the tubing first. Soft drawn tubing is less likely to split during swaging. Make sure you know which tubing you have. Seems to work OK.

Works great, take it slow for 3/8 it'll split if you don't turn the copper after 8 to 10 pumps...

This product is no good.!!!! All the swage dies split the copper when you’re swedging every time!!!! I would never buy this product ever again on this manufacture !!! It is a piece of junk !!!!!

I purchased this hydraulic expander as it was listed that it would work for PEX piping. It does not work for expanding PEX piping. Yes, the expander is physically capable of expanding a pex fitting, but not the entire fitting which is necessary to go over the expansion Barb. The tool's expander is just too short. This would be a good tool for PEX if it had heads fit for purpose, however as it is now it is worthless for pex.I did keep the tool simply because it will expand conduit although I found it is a lengthy process as I had to use a smaller head first to enlarge the conduit and then go to a larger size to expand out to make the connection.I think it's a great idea it just needs some work to make it a truly useful tool.

This product was easy to use and created perfect unions in steel conduit. The hydraulic pump gives excellent control of the expansion and requires little effort. I recreated sections of a canopy tent that was bent in a windstorm. Many uses for this tool. Recommend getting one for the price.
