Works well, gets rid of the resonator, and makes the turbo a little more present. I like it for the price and installation was a breeze.

Good fit installed on LLY. Lubed up the O-rings with a little oil and it went right in.

Nice cheap mod to clean up the engine bay. Noticed a slight difference in sound and the Turbo was a good bit louder on my straight piped truck.

No noticable improvements other than looks and cleans up the engine compartment. Thought there might be a sound change but nothing. Not a waste of money but other than looks seems to really not add any value.

Put it on my LBZ DURAMAX 2006 took 15 minutes to install .. I used dielectric grease and worked it in very tight fit . Very happy cleaned up the engine bay and price was good ..

Fit my 2004.5 LLY perfectly. Make sure and lube the o-rings before installing them and then lube the plug to make easier installation and not tear the rings. Very pleased and looks nice and clean under the hood.

This is more a decorative item then anything else. It allows you to eliminate the resonator. In some of my research of Duramax diesel LLY engines I find it was no uncommon for the resonator to break apart and pieces were drawn into the engine via the turbo. This will cause some serious engine damage. So in my mind it's cheap protection in case the resonator did start breaking up. I would recommend applying some grease or oil to the rubber "O" rings to make it easier to install. Since purchasing the plug I have replaced the turbo mouth piece and don't need the plug anymore.
