Great looking product that solves my problem with double hump heads. Unfortunatly it was missing one bolt, other than that so far looks great. I have purchased another set for my other truck.

It was delivered rather quickly, good quality, good finish. If it worked for my 77 Corvette with a sbc 350 engine I would have given it 5 stars. Buuuut it hits the upper arm on my vette, soooo bummed.

My 327 doesn't have tapped holes in the head. This bracket bolts to the long water pump. Has a nice finish. Very sturdy bracket.

Ad states this is the 551672X, but what I received is the 551672, and is completely different and does not include all of the pieces shown in the ad photos. Now I have the hassle of sending it back for a replacement and waiting several more days to fix my car.

This bracket fits like a glove. Very sturdy, easy to tension and only takes a few minutes if you have a non-smog pump motor. Alternator clears stock fuel pump as well as aftermarkets, and you will need a slightly smaller belt. I've had it for two years now in two cars, part has not corroded or warped. I was even able to move my ground cable from the stock bracket (deleted to use this one) and bolt it right to the head where the stock lower bracket bolt no longer is. I would buy this again all day if I needed another.

I have to say that I wasn't sure what to expect from this kit as it was priced well under other kits that had less in them. However when I received the Alt kit from ICT, all I could say was WOW, and even more so when it was installed. Installation was straightforward and just made a huge difference in the look of the engine. Components were well made and fit perfectly. I cant say enough about this kit from ICT. Once I saw the build of this kit I went and purchased their power steering pump kit as well. Fantastic product. My apologies for sub standard picture. I should have taken the picture before installing the fan shroud.

This simple bracket cured our alternator mounting issues with double hump heads w/out accessory bolt holes. It doesn't have any wobble to it. It does require you to swing the alternator 180 degrees so that the adjustment bolt is on the bottom instead of the top as you face the engine. That is not a problem, but swinging the alternator around might possibly put your wiring in a tight position. If it was clocked at 3 O'clock before, you might need to change to 9 O'clock position to get the wiring back on top if you don't want to run wires to bottom of the alternator. Also, with original clock, the charging lug on back of alt was very close to the block and would cause a dead short if the adjustment bolt loosened. The solution for me was to change the alt. clock 180 degrees. If you read up on this, people will say be careful not to let the shaft slip out of the brushes when you split the alternator halves. That probably isn't hard to fix, but you can avoid that problem entirely if you pull the front half of the alternator away from the back w/out moving the shaft as demonstrated in this video I found : [Amazon deleted the link so just search for "91lfKtbU7ew" on youtube] (thanks to Richard Mankins)My only recommendation would be to not reassemble using an impact as this will likely tighten the nut more than it was before possibly causing alternator cooling fan clearance issues. What I did was use a small punch to create two dots across from each other (one on nut and one on alt. shaft) and tighten back until the dots aligned again. One last note, I had to run a 3/8" 16 die over the main bolt that attaches it to the engine block, but that might have been because my teenager had already assembled it before I checked out the wiring situation and decided to remove and reclock. He might have "boogered" up the threads (denies it of course), but I did need to clean up with die before it screwed into block smoothly. Just check that all bolts thread into the block before actually assembling the bracket and you will be good!
