Well for some reason Trane and some other brands tried these relays, what I remember is there 2 price, but look like one relay, so on the Trane the same relay (2 part) has the relay, then a tiny part of it converts ac to DC voltage, I made the mistake of just getting the relay, had to go back and find the part that converts it. There cheap, so buy a few extra, Trane stopped carrying them, this air handler was 7 years old, I thought there was a rule that they had to carry parts for say. 10 years? I was not happy with Trane.These also go on cars I think, but if getting for a electric heat air handler, inside section of central air, be aware you need both sections of what appears to be one relay, get 2 or 3 extra and leave them inside the unit because you will need again, probably on a very cold day
