About this item

  • Seals leaks from the inside
  • Long-lasting
  • Allows for future deflation

Inflatable Boat Sealant Kit Stops Slow Leaks! Inland Marine Sealant is specially formulated for use with inflatable boats, rafts and tow toys. This sealant forms a bond with the interior fabric of the inflatable, stopping or "sealing" slow leaks and preventing future leaks from developing. In one easy step, leaks are cured from the inside, which are virtually impossible to find from the outside. Inland Marine Sealant is the only product of its kind which allows for future deflation of your inflatable (for storage, etc.) without the skin sticking to itself and making re-inflation virtually impossible. This is why Inland Marine Sealant has earned a 5-Star product rating from West Marine, and is has been used by the US Navy and Yachters worldwide since 1986. If you are having a difficult time locating the leak in your raft, kayak, tow toy, or dinghy, you need to use Inland Marine USA Sealant, because our Sealant is especially helpful in fixing those difficult slow leaks that are not easy to find. Our Sealant provides a strong bond that should last for years when applied according to the easy instructions. It will seal the leak(s) and keep your inflatable firm for years to come. And Inland Marine USA Sealant can be used multiple times, so if your inflatable develops a new leak weeks or years from now, you can use the sealant again!

Tossed 1/3 of a bottle in each chamber of our boat. Pumped it up and started rolling the boat around in the yard. Thought we had one hole but bubbles start coming out of three or four different spots. Worked amazing and we are holding air still months and months later.

It did not stop my tiny pin hole leaks. Tossed dinghy around the yard and saw some air bubbles come out but still leaks. What a waste of time and money. The good news is my neighbors got a good laugh watching my toss and roll my dinghy around in the back yard!

Had a extremely slow leak in an inflatable. I had doubts about this working because the leak was extremely slow. Followed the directions and BINGO. It took over a month to realize it worked.

Only thing I did not like was the physical work involved in doing this. My dingy is an 11.5 ft hard bottom. I had to hang it from one of my sailboat halyards and crank it up and down bit by bit going back and forth to the dingy to tilt it back and forth. Heavy work and took a long time. But I guess a few dollars worth of product and a couple of hours work is a lot less money than the approx $3000. it would cost to replace the dingy. Two of my dingy air chambers used to be flat within days. Now there is no sign of it going flat.

I have a 1973 Zodiac Mark 1 classic that has a Teak home built seating arrangement that lands on the top section of both air chambers. In the past someone had glued down some fabric on the tops of the chambers to reduce wear. Of course this is where the holes are, below this fabric, and these leaks could be seen with the bubble test.I purchased 1 bottle of this miracle liquid and followed directions. To my amazement this stuff worked on its first attempt like a dream. My 1973 Zodiac is back in the business holding air, no need to bump it up before use or daily like I was. What really surprised me is I can not see where the sealant has leaked out while sealing the holes. The stuff just worked and I again have full confidence in the boat.Thank you for such a great product!
